Retention and fixation bandages are used to hold a dressings or devices in place. To be effective these bandages should have a high degree of confomability, excellent stretch characteristics and therefore offer little support value. The yarns are light weight and the weave is open to ensure the bandage is comfortable and allows free air circulation.
